Been awhile…
So, it has been a long time since I’ve updated my blog and my website. And I have good reason.
No, it’s not the dog – but she’s cute, isn’t she.
For the past several months I have been engaged in applying to law schools. Those who know me best (and those who don’t know me either, I’m quite sure) know that lawyering is in my blood and it is time for me to rise to the throne. I’ve loved every second of my travels and will continue to do so – but solely at my leisure.
I’m dedicating myself to my new career path, Margaret, and saving the whales (or freeing Tibet, or feminism – whatever makes me a more attractive law school candidate [actually, I'm a huge proponent of feminism - it's such a cute cause]). Along the way I will make new friends, plenty of future enemies, and Maggie will probably pick up a real mother (or two). I’m excited and you should be too.
My friend Neil pushed me over the edge when he said something along the lines of me not being a lawyer was the biggest waste of natural talent he knows of (I may be slightly off on the quote, but it was the gist). To him, I am grateful.
I’m going to try to keep up with this blog more now. I’ll be adding my two cents into a lot more things. Hopefully, my legion of followers (and there are scores of you – don’t feel like you’re alone) will continue to be intrigued.
